To integrate any application/website with BIM POS, the developer of the website/application has to integrate with our server www.posapis.com (all developer related information can be found on posapis.com)

The BIM POS software suite has to be updated to at least the following versions
- BIM Back-Office version v1.4+
- BIM Comm Center v2.6+
- Database and POS coherent with the above applications
An Account has to be created on posapis.com by BIM POS (username/password)

This Smart CD works only on smart drawers purchased through authorized vendors of BIM POS connectect through printer interface via serial/OPOS only.

It is mainly tested on Epson-branded printers (TMT88IV and V)

Edit the Micro Switch Cash Drawer in: Station setup > Hardware Settings. (It should be the same as the printer attached to: Serial, OPOS with the same LDN)
Change the “ASB Status” for Epson TM-85 in Printer Types to “29,97,1” – it should be the same for TM-T88 as well.
The following OCX Should be registered:

OPOSCashDrawer.ocx version 1.14.1.0
OPOSPOSPrinter.ocx version 1.13.1.0

Use the attached BIMPRINTINGSERVICE.EXE and NOT Bimprinting.exe

Note:

“Enforce Closing Cash Drawer” if checked will display the “cash drawer open popup” on the POS when the drawer is opened
“Beep After” X amount of seconds if checked will force the system to beep after the designated seconds have passed

Some parameters are required in order to make a connection between the Kiosk and the server, please check the following:

- Database server IP Address

- Port

- Database name

- User name

- Password

For the first time the kiosk is opened, it will lead you to the settings Page, there you can save all parameters.

Answered: while posting sales from Back-Office to Calc, the cost of goods sold is being doubled

This Happens when there are Recipes in the system that are set as stockable (product has stock) and are set to deplete their ingredients upon sale (Poll Recipe on Sale Option) at the same time.

This leads to sending both of the recipe (having a cost of X=total of its ingredient costs) and the ingredients (individually) to the posdetailmovement table.

To solve the problem we need the following:

verify that all recipes in the system that are set as poll recipe on sale, do not have stock. to find those items, you can run the following Query:

select * from products p inner join recipe_header rh on p.prodnum=rh.prodnum and rh.isactive=1 where p.isproduction=0 and p.pollrecipe=1

for each of the items decide what to do (most probably the item's stock should be depleted) make sure to adjust all item stock to zero (in each existing branch, in each location) and then set the item as having no stock; this will fix the items.
to fix the old data, run the following sql

delete from posdetailmovement where prodnum in (select prodnum from products where isproduction=1)

Finally, unpost all sales from BIM CALC and repost them.
